A couple of Sundays every month we invite different authors to Árdna for Sauna TALK - a concept where the author reads from their own, or someone else's, latest book. You can enjoy the reading from inside the sauna or in the bar, where the author will be sitting. Most of the sauna talks will be in Norwegian and they start at 5pm.
This Sunday we’ve invited author Bård Torgersen. His newest book "Lengter knuser slår" is his eight novel, and was released in February 2019. It was very well received among critics, even though it's pretty different from his previous experimental releases. Torgersen is an author with a big vocabulary, and the only predictable thing about him is that he never stands still.
Torgersen was a big part of Oslo's underground scene in the 80s as the vocalist of post punk band Masters of Mø. During the 90s he became one of the pioneers of the Norwegian electronica scene, and has since then done several projects that touches both music and litterature. In 2005 Torgersen debuted with the novel "Alt Skal Vekk" and is a critically acclaimed author. He's also been a part of several anthologies, as well as published seven poetry collections.
This event is a part of sauna session and you'll need a ticket for the 3-6pm session to attend. You'll find more information about sauna session and tickets here: universe.com/saltsauna
