Rituals are included in our sauna session product. To access the rituals, all you need is a ticket for a sauna session.

Sauna Sessions / Shared Saunas
SKROGET
Skroget is the sauna where our sauna masters host rituals. Skroget accommodates 20–30 people and maintains a temperature of 70–80°C. Between rituals, guests are welcome to use Skroget if they prefer a more intimate setting than Árdna.
Skroget is one of our shared saunas and is included in the sauna session offering during its opening hours.
ÁRDNA
Árdna is our largest sauna — and one of the largest in the world. It accommodates 80–90 people and maintains a temperature of 50–60°C, with tiered seating that allows you to adjust the heat by sitting higher or lower in the amphitheatre. Before entering the sauna, you’ll find the reception and bar. The atmosphere here is often social and lively, but you can also retreat and enjoy views of the Opera House and the fjord.
Árdna is one of our shared saunas and is included in the sauna session offering during its opening hours.
ULVEN SILENT SAUNA
This sauna is a true wolf in sheep’s clothing, featuring a torpedo-like, wood-fired sauna stove that roars to life. The sauna is wood-fired, with a handcrafted stove made by a Finnish family-run company, reaching temperatures of 80–100°C. This is the place to be if you prefer calm and quiet over the more lively saunas.
Ulven Silent Sauna is one of our shared saunas and is included in the sauna session offering during its opening hours.
Privatsaunaer
BARREL SAUNA
For up to 4 or 8 people
Rent a 100-year-old aquavit barrel transformed into a sauna! Our barrel saunas are available for private groups in two sizes: a four-person barrel and an eight-person barrel.
Each barrel sauna comes with its own cold plunge pool and changing room, and includes access to the outdoor Fjord Terrace, bar, toilets, showers, and additional cold plunge pools. Ice with essential oils for melting on the stove is included in the price.
JERVEN
For up to 12 people
Jerven is a private sauna with space for up to 12 people. Located on the Fjord Terrace, it allows you to step outside between sessions and enjoy views of the fjord.
Renting a private sauna with us includes access to the outdoor area, bar, toilets, showers, cold plunge pools, and ice with essential oils for melting on the stove. Jerven also has its own private changing room.
NAUSTET SAUNA
For up to 6 people
Naustet Sauna is a private sauna set in an atmospheric, traditional boathouse, with a small concert stage, café, and bar in the adjoining room.
The sauna has its own service hatch to the bar, a private bathroom with shower, and a cold plunge pool just outside. Ice with essential oils for melting on the stove is included in the price.

MEMBERSHIP
Purchase a membership online and enjoy discounted rates on all sauna bookings.
As a sauna member at SALT, you get discounted tickets for sauna sessions and private saunas.
A sauna membership with us costs NOK 1,000 per year.
As a member of SALT’s saunas, you receive:
– At least 40% off sauna sessions
– Mate’s rates (20% off) at the bar
– 15% off merchandise
– 15% off private sauna bookings
In addition, you receive membership benefits at the saunas at HAVET in Trondheim. Ticket discounts apply to drop-in only.
The membership renews automatically on an annual basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the Vipps app, through your account pages, or by emailing us before the renewal date.
If you only want a one-year membership, you can cancel the subscription immediately. Your membership will then remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and will not renew.

The gift card can be used for all of our sauna offerings, except memberships.
Gift cards can only be redeemed when booking through our website.
The gift card is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
The gift card validity cannot be extended.
